What does this Norton error message mean?

Error: ''Norton AntiVirus has encountered an internal program error.'' (3038,107)

It's been coming up a lot, and nothing seems to fix it.

Should I just reinstall it?

Cheers x

What does this Norton error message mean?downloads

How about you uninstall it all together and try out something new... say NOD32 and kaspersky or if you looking for great Free alternatives try out AVG , Avast, and ANtivir.

Needless to say... Norton has degraded over the years. I personally used norton for a long time. since windows 95. however 1 thing you have to know about the industry of softwares.Name brand does not mean a better product. and this is comming from a guy who has tried everything. or nearely everything.

I am currently running linux .. but when i was a windows user .. my favorite free antivirus was antivir. and second to that came Avast. last but not least came AVG.

Google up those names .. or go to download.com read some reviews and ull be surprised.

Regard,

best of luck

Ive had an error message from Norton for 3 months now.

BT (england obviously) have promised me now 20+ times that they will sort it out. But they have still failed to do so. (been on hold with them for a total of 6 hours so far:-(

If your provided via BT - then I would suggest that the error is with BT - not with Norton (when I was provided direct from Norton - I never had a problem!!!!)

(I have also uninstalled and reinstalled 8 times)
