My pc is compatiable with it. 2 gig ram, 500gb hard, 5200 Amd processor, nvidia 6150 graphics card. This game is so slow I can't even bear to try and play it is there any suggestions on how to make it work better. I have no other programs running i even turn off my antivirus.

Search for a patch for the game.. or try windows update for your nvidia driver.. tht should surely resolve your issue.. Could you also inform if you `ve had problems with any other game too?.. n yea 2 gigs is enough.. upgrading more would make ne sense.. `coz i `ve just 1 gig.. and also using vista ultimate.. not the best graphic card.. but still things are pretty cool with heavy gaming.. So upgrading your ram would not resolve your problem.. but surely hit your pockets..

yes ... reinstall xp ... actually i havent tried halo on vista but i would look on the games support site for any patches and make sure u have the latest graphic driver ...
vista is a resouce hog. the operating system takes up 512mb Ram alone. 2 gigs is alot. halo 2 needs 1 gb to run. that doesnt mean run well. i would reccomend getting more RAM if you can.
